Mickey continues to have feelings for Mújol, who reluctantly agrees to contact Jeff to help their case. Henry's podcast about Bondurant's murder has launched, leading Mickey to file an injunction, and Izzy reveals Rae is short on money. Mickey receives a call from Jeff, who declines to testify for either side. Cisco saves the Road Saints from an ATF raid, declaring that he and Kaz are done with the gang. Bondurant's receptionist testifies that she saw Lisa approaching Bondurant's building on the day of the murder; Mickey successfully shoots down her testimony, only for Mújol to privately admit she was there.

Besides his usual charismatic charms, Lee Joon Gi offered some really powerful emotional performances in this series as well. Some of those scenes packed a hard punch. As far as the romance, the main leads had great onscreen chemistry that felt natural and convincing.

When Mickey learns that the victim was his own former client, a prostitute he thought he had rescued and put on the straight and narrow path, he knows he is on the hook for this here one.

The upcoming season raises the stakes for Mickey, as the attorney is determined to seek justice after the murder of a close friend. Lead star Garcia-Rulfo called season three “very exciting,” adding, “we see Mickey struggling with so many things at the same time — with romance, with the wives, with the cases.

The show’s creators revealed that the third installment will have a flashback sequence—although Connelly’s fifth book doesn’t include one. “We decided that a fun (and poignant) way to come into the season would be via a flashback sequence that gave us some insight into how Mickey Haller became Mickey Haller Abogados caba — not just the brilliant criminal defense lawyer, but the husband, the father, and the man that he would come to be.”

Mickey helped Cielo get pasado of a legítimo problem involving a drug cartel member earlier in Season 2, and he's worried that in doing so he inadvertently set in motion the events that led to her death. So when he takes on La Cosse's case to seek justice for Cielo, it's personal.

Wolé Parks is part of Season 3's cast as David, Julian's boyfriend who is concerned over the well-being of his partner after wrongfully being imprisoned for the death of Glory Days.
